NSW Aboriginal Housing Office

The NSW Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) is a statutory authority established under the Aboriginal Housing Act 1998.

The AHO’s vision is to ensure every Aboriginal person in NSW has equal access to, and choice in, affordable housing.

To help achieve this vision, the AHO champions the use of innovative building methods and they have been delivering homes using modern methods of construction (MMC) since 2019.

MMC play a key role as part of the AHO’s new-build program and they are committed to maximising efficiencies in construction to deliver more properties for Aboriginal communities across NSW.
