Taphcore Manufacturing Pty Ltd is dedicated to the manufacture and commercialisation of Taphcore®, a novel, structural Phase-Change Composite Material (PCCM).
Taphcore® can absorb and store a large amount of heat at constant temperature and can be formed into panels that replace conventional wall, ceiling or floor finishes.
This technology provides a cost effective solution to improving the climate resilience of the built environment. Taphcore® protects built assets against future volatility in demand based electricity supply costs. When incorporated with passive or active radiant cooling or heating strategies, Taphcore® can generate a step change in energy efficiency, while providing for superior thermal comfort, indoor air quality and flexible and adaptable space usage.
