Sustainable Materials and Design Dr Philip Christopher
Philp is a research fellow in Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Melbourne and is currently working with a range of industry leaders on prefabricated systems and advancing the thermal performance of the residential housing sector. He specialises in sustainable materials for construction and the thermal performance of building fabric.
Since completing his PhD in 2018, Philip has worked extensively with industry on testing the structural and fire performance of Australian-made cross laminated timber and glulam for the commercial market. Philip has also worked on the design and development of prefabricated façade solutions for the Australia marked including advanced thermal modelling and digital LIDAR and photogrammetric scanning.
