#116 MMC Pathways for Youth Housing Delivery

This project explores how Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) can improve housing outcomes for young people transitioning from state care. In partnership with Uniting NSW.ACT, it will translate youth-centred design insights into practical MMC pathways, design guides and feasibility frameworks. Through case studies, co-design workshops and demonstration activities, the project aims to deliver evidence-based tools that support faster, more affordable and higher-quality youth housing.

The project will inform and deliver an MMC Strategy for Uniting, to use across its property portfolio. The outcomes will strengthen sector capability, inform government and funding submissions, and advance the Building 4.0 CRC mission to industrialise, digitise and humanise Australia’s housing delivery system.
