Siddhesh is a structural engineer and a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne working with building 4.0 CRC. He earned his PhD in structural and earthquake engineering of prefabricated modular buildings from the University of Melbourne in 2021. He is a dual-degree graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, majoring in civil-structural engineering.  His current research portfolio includes:

1. Modern methods in construction, design and manufacturing of prefabricated buildings
2. Hybrid project management and productised supply chain management involving off-site manufacturing
3. Financial innovations for prefabricated buildings
4. Road transportation induced dynamic load interaction in truck cargo

He is passionate about reduced carbon construction, digital tool development for the betterment of the complex construction ecosystem, and upskilling of the existing construction stakeholders
