Program Leader (Building Transformation) and Lead Researcher (University of Melbourne) Prof Tuan Ngo
Tuan is Professor in Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Melbourne. He coordinated the establishment of the ARC Training Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of Prefabricated Housing (CAMPH). He specialises in research related to design and manufacturing of sustainable building components and systems using high performance materials.
Throughout his career, Tuan has led many research collaborations with industry to develop new building products and simulation platforms, and performed experiments on many prefabricated modular building structures. Tuan is the proud recipient of several awards, including the prestigious Eureka Prize for Outstanding Science in Safeguarding Australia.
