Dr Abdullah Anwar
Abdullah is a Research Fellow in infrastructure engineering at the University of Melbourne, specialising in concrete materials, cementitious composites and construction systems. His work focuses on material performance, durability and the integration of advanced materials into practical construction applications.
Through his experience in structural engineering and construction practice, he brings a strong understanding of construction workflows, coordination and implementation challenges. In Project #119, he contributes to developing implementation-ready guidance for integrating cast-in ferrule systems into cast-in-situ construction to support safer-by-design practices and eliminate silica exposure at source.
