Dr Tobias Kramer
Tobias received his PhD from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.
Since training to become an engineer in the built environment, Tobias has been curious and passionate about learning how to design more energy-efficient and resilient buildings for the future, in a changing climate.
Tobias’s research used personal occupant comfort data collected in real buildings to investigate personalised and more accurate comfort modelling practices. The aim was to aggregate the research results into a personal comfort prediction tool that can be used in early design stage.
PhD Start and End Dates
Tobias completed his PhD in 2023. He is a post-doctoral researcher at the Center for the Built Environment at the University of California, Berkeley.
