Sara Rashidian is a PhD candidate in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at QUT. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture and Sustainability. Her PhD research focuses on implementing new construction approaches to enhance collaboration and integration among construction stakeholders. This involves the adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Integrated Project Delivery, and Lean Construction principles in an integrated manner.With experience as an Architect, Graduate Architect overseas and in Australia, Sara has a strong professional background in architecture studies, design and documentation. She has also contributed as a sessional academic, unit coordinator and Associate Fellow of Advance HE in various universities, including QUT, Griffith, and Bond University. Her involvement encompasses diverse units such as Architecture Design, Design Thinking, BIM-IPD subjects, Integrated Construction, and Residential Construction.
