Greg Qiao is a full Professor at the University of Melbourne, having joined the institution in 1996 after completing his Ph.D. at the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of both the Royal Australia Chemical Institute (RACI) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), London. His research interests include polymeric drug delivery, biopolymers, and polymers for soft tissue engineering. Prof Qiao has published over 300 journal papers and holds more than 20 patents. He has received various awards, including the RACI Applied Research Award in 2017 and the ExxonMobil Award in 2015. Currently, he is the Associate Dean for Research Training at the Faulty of Engineering & IT.
