Hafedh Al-Mashgari

Hafedh Al-Mashgari, a dedicated and ambitious individual, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the field of structural Engineering at the University of Melbourne. Hafedh received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2016, and completed his masters in structural engineering and construction, from University Putra Malaysia, in 2019. Driven by a passion for sustainable and innovative construction practices, Hafedh is currently conducting research on the topic of Hybrid Timber-FRP Structural Systems. The research project aims to address challenges of mass timber production (MTP) in Australia by bridging the gap between traditional timber and modern composite materials.
