
Dr Fereshteh Banakar
Fereshteh was a PhD student at Queensland University of Technology, Australia, working on Extending Building Information Modelling (BIM) Object Model for Road infrastructure design, construction and operation.
Her research focused on design, operation and maintenance and stakeholder engagement for siteworks and landscaping of building projects. It aimed to develop a framework for exchanging data from the design and construction phases to the operation and maintenance phases.
Fereshteh holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, and over the past six years has been involved in several architectural, renovation, landscape and road projects as a designer, data analyst, and site manager.
PhD Start and End Dates
Fereshteh completed her PhD in 2023. She is a digital coordinator at DBM Vircon.
