Pierre is a senior lecturer in the faculty of IT at Monash University. He is primarily interested in solving general and applied Discrete Optimisation problems. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.

He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Université Paris XI.
