Project Milestone and Reporting Manager Dr Chris Landorf
In addition to this position, Dr Chris Landorf is an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Queensland and member of the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia Accreditation Management Committee. She is a registered architect with postgraduate qualifications in business administration, facility management and the sustainable management of historic environments. She has also sat on early contractor involvement assessment panels and competition juries. As a full-time academic until December 2021, Chris coordinated architectural practice and technology courses, advised research thesis students and held several School-level leadership positions. She continues to advise four PhD candidates.
Her academic research has centred on the sustainable management of historic cultural landscapes, including urban and industrial landscapes, and the use of digital technologies to enhance conservation and interpretation. Between 2017 and 2021, she co-convened three international conferences on digital cultural heritage. A further research theme has been the development of educational methods and digital resources for the teaching of architectural practice and technology. Between 2014 and 2021, she gained $485,000 in competitive funding to develop a 4-dimensional digital platform that immerses students in live construction projects captured over time.
