Darcy Zelenko
Darcy Zelenko studied his PhD at Monash University, working with the Future Building Initiative, a research lab focussed on conceptualising and implementing a more industrialised approach to building. His PhD research explored how design can be used to enable a greater uptake of production technology in construction.
Darcy has worked extensively in digital fabrication which has seen him develop expertise in bespoke timber manufacturing. In addition to this Darcy has taught architecture and computational design at multiple universities, with a specific interest in the role that prototyping can play as part of an innovative design process.
PhD Start and End Dates
Darcy submitted his thesis for assessment in March 2026. He is a researcher with Future Building Initiative at Monash University.
