Dr Brandon Johns
Brandon is a research fellow at Monash University. As part of the Robotics in Medicine and Interaction (RoMI) lab and the Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) joint lab group, Brandon’s work emphasises the coherent interfacing between humans and construction cranes.
Brandon completed his PhD (Mechatronics) in Feburary 2024 with the thesis “Crane Payload Localisation: Mid-Air Alignment of Curtain Wall Modules”.
Brandon carefully designs his research objectives in ways that allow him to play with the lab’s robots and 3D motion capture equipment.
