Building 4.0 CRC is very proud to host its first International Women’s Day event.

This was on 10am on 8^th March as a free online talk by our remarkable Chair, Dr Bronwyn Evans AM. 

Bronwyn was one of the first women to graduate as an Electrical Engineer at her university, was the first female CEO of Engineer’s Australia and Standards Australia, and is currently a non-executive board member of many organisations, a chartered engineer and Honorary Fellow of Engineers Australia.

In 2021 Bronwyn was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia and last year she was named Woman of the Year for the Women in Industry Awards. She has also been recognised as one of the Top 100 most Influential Engineers in Australia, and as a Woman of Influence.

Bronwyn is a brilliant role model, and fascinating speaker who offered her reflections on career highlights, and some poignant insights into what it takes to become a Leader.
