Building 4.0 CRC Prof. Mathew Aitchison recently had the opportunity to share his insights during an interview with Fox News Media Los Angeles about the impact of bushfires.

It comes after Mathew and Prof. Mel Dodd (Dean of Monash Art, Design and Architecture) presented at the SCI-ARC Resilient Futures Task Force in Los Angeles on research from Project #35 – Prefab Housings Solutions for Bushfire and Disaster Relief. That project showed how prefabrication and advanced manufacturing can deliver both short-term and long-term housing solutions for disaster-affected communities.
