Son Tung Vy graduated with a BEng (2015) & MEng (2018) from the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE), Vietnam.

He worked as a lecturer for three years in the NUCE Dept. of Steel & Timber Structures before commencing his PhD study at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2019.

Son Tung’s current research aims to provide comprehensive knowledge and understanding on the structural and fire behaviour of innovative light gauge steel framed (LSF) wall systems made of built-up cold-formed steel (CFS) studs.

PhD Start and End Dates
Son Tung completed his PhD in 2022. He is a research associate at the Queensland University of Technology.
