Hafizah Binti Ramli is Associate Professor in Structural Engineering at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Queensland University of Technology.  Trained as civil engineer, she worked in construction industry in Malaysia and as academic in the University of Malaya, before joining QUT.

Hafizah is passionate about transforming Australia towards a circular economy through her research on sustainable materials for circular building and construction. Her research work includes material development and design strategies in buildings and infrastructures such as prefabrication and precast structures, material recyclability, efficient and high strength steel-concrete composite structures and fibre reinforced polymer composites, gained over 17 years.
