Lalita Lama

Lalita Lama is a current PhD candidate in the Department of Infrastructural Engineering at the University of Melbourne. She completed her master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Tongji University, China, in 2021. During her master’s program, she conducted research on the structural behaviour of composite columns under compression. Prior to her master’s, she gained valuable experience in the field of building design and construction for more than two years.

Her research interests include Structural Fire Engineering, Modular Building, Composite Structures, Composite Columns and Finite Element Modelling. Currently, she is investigating the performance of composite modular buildings under fire, with a particular emphasis on determining the influential parameters that affect the behaviour of these buildings.
